Our other favorite beach for tranquil days, lounge chairs and palapas with smaller surf and long strolls is PLAYA LANGOSTA.. not to be missed , a truly beautiful beach for early morning walks. Mansita by to the JW has a safe swimming beach perfect for the kids if you want to avoid the waves.

The JW Marriott is withn 3 minutes drive from the house open to visitors with a separate beach for non guests , pool and spa use is extra, check at admin office , offers a few restaurants and bars to enjoy for anyone.

Within the resort we have two small stores for basic items , one next to Malinches and one by the JW . try the Gelato at the JW. They carry wine beer etc within 5 mins.

Villa Real is a small village 10 minutes from our home where we have a couple of supermarkets and a very inexpensive farmers market for produce , fruit and vegetables . We definitely recommend buying your vegetables and fruit there and supporting the local community. Another good store is Simply Fresh on the way to Tamarindo.

You can also order fish on a Sunday for Tuesday home delivery.. let me know if you are interested. Automercado is the main American style supermarket, 20 mins towards Tamarindo.
