Welcome to Playa Grande Surf Villas, where your only "to do's" are: surf, yoga, relax... and repeat! A tranquil, peaceful oasis welcomes you home after a day of surfing a world-class break located minutes from your front door.

We offer on-site longboard + cruiser bike rentals, as well as yoga + fitness classes available upon request.

The space
Villa Grande offers 2 bedrooms (1 king, 2 queens), 2.5 bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, laundry room, and an expansive outdoor living space. The pool is currently OUT OF SERVICE.

There are two additional villas available for rent on the property. Use of the exercise deck and equipment is shared with the other Villa. We the hosts live in a third structure at the back of the property.

Nearby there are plenty of things to do: world class fishing, zip lines, ATV, scuba, snorkeling (3 mins down on our beach!), turtle tours and howler monkey sightings often times right in our backyard! There are Scarlett Macaws flying though the area and walking trails abound – as well as a large network of mountain bike trails throughout the development.

The iconic surf town of Tamarindo is 20-25 minutes away offering outstanding dining, cafes, eco tours and shops.

Guanacaste is also home to one of Costa Rica's two international airports. Located in Liberia, the Daniel Oduber International Airport receives many non-stop direct flights from major US cities. Just a short 2 to 3.5 hour flight from many US airports, Guanacaste is an easy destination. And once on the ground most tourist resort locations are less than an hour drive, making it one of the closest tropical tourist destinations in Latin America.
